How Dachshunds Escape

Dachshunds are escape artists! When Molly was a puppy, she would always escape her pen during the day to greet us at the door. We always put the blame on our son for letting the puppy run around the house when she was not quite potty trained.

But now we know the truth… Odie had a helping nose in it and let his little friend out!

My Doxie, can open the door (or at lest run into it so many times, it opens) He is asleep now on my lap. Go to go, bye.

Actually, those are my dogs Etta (looking out the window), Saucey on the footstool, and Audrey on the floor. We hired Nancy on consignment to do the painting. She was wonderful to work with. She came to the house to photograph, sketch and absorb the personalities our three wiener kids. Needless to say we were thrilled the results!
Since this was created, Audrey and Saucey, and both joined the spirit world. They continue to watch over us, and guide the two newest members of the wiener clan – Ella and Rudy!
thanks for your post, and getting the word out about Nancy and her gift of animal interpretation through art.
