One of these days I need to compose and sing a Dachshund Song … after all I do sing to my doxies everyday.  But for now, you can enjoy a really good song about dogs:

Dachshunds are escape artists! When Molly was a puppy, she would always escape her pen during the day to greet us at the door. We always put the blame on our son for letting the puppy run around the house when she was not quite potty trained.

But now we know the truth… Odie had a helping nose in it and let his little friend out!

I really need to get a video recorder with better resolution for you to appreciate how funny these Dachshunds are when we’re playing ball. I’ll toss the ball for Chloe and Odie will get to the ball first since he’s the fastest. Next Molly runs up to him and grabs a hold of the ball. Then Odie and Molly return the ball in a tug-a-war style running back towards me. See for yourself:

I’m not really a YouTube fan but I like their service and I can post some videos of our three Dachshunds up there for free. For some reason, I can only record 14 seconds on my cell phone but at least you can see a video of Odie and Chloe. Molly is still camera shy since her bad hair cut. I’ll try to sneak a picture of her when she’s sleeping.
