We’re going on vacation and we’re planning to leave our Dachshunds home alone for about a week. Do you think they can hold it that long?
Actually, our Son is staying home alone with them so they should be fine… If he remembers to feed and water them and let them out to poddy…
I’m sure […]

For the second time within a month, one of our Dachshunds had an infected anal glad. This time, Chloe’s abscessed and nearly ruptured.
Unlike Odie, it was a complete surprise since she was acting normal until late Sunday night where she started hiding behind the downstairs toilet.
I knew exactly what it was from Odie’s recent […]

Going for a ride usually means we’re going to get something to eat or going to get something to play with. When I say “who wants to ride to ‘Smart?” the first Doxie that comes running is the one who gets to go and pick out the toy.
Needless to say, Chloe […]

I’m not really a YouTube fan but I like their service and I can post some videos of our three Dachshunds up there for free. For some reason, I can only record 14 seconds on my cell phone but at least you can see a video of Odie and Chloe. Molly is […]

The Barkslope wrote an interesting blog post on how the Brits are naming their dogs after Celebrities. Two of our Dachshunds are named after a celebrity of some sort. Chloe is named after the prize winning Dachshund in the Disney film The Ugly Dachshund.
Odie really started out as “Brutus†the Great Dane […]

Some of my favorite pictures I took this week happened when I was able to get both Molly and Odie to look at the camera. The secret to getting your Dachshund pose for pictures is to get them to think the camera is a squeaky ball.
Earlier this week Molly managed to dismantle a squeaky ball trying to get the whistle inside. I found the whistle …

Many readers of Three Miniature Dachshunds find their way here via MSN, Yahoo and even sometimes Google. But without the help of Free Website Traffic Expert Tinu Abayomi-Paul, Three Miniature Daschunds would be forever lost in the search engine pages nobody ever sees.
Reading Tinu’s blog over the past two years has given me insight […]

I spent a good part of the day updating the Three-Miniature Dachshund site today which did not leave much time for our three Doxies: Chloe, Odie and Molly. I hope you like the new format. The links were getting a little cluttered making it hard to navigate around the Doxie site. Enjoy!
No […]

Dachshunds are very resilient dogs. I’m reminded of this every time Odie lifts his hind leg to pee. Something so common to a male dog brings tears to my eyes only thinking that 7 months ago Odie was paralyzed and could not walk.
The three-legged stance is a testimony to his courage, strength and recovery from […]
