I found an interesting shop on Etsy (Annie’s Sweatshop) where you can get custom clothing and handmade items for your Daschund. I especially like her Hound Hoodie Sweatshirts.
Annie is

We’re going on vacation and we’re planning to leave our Dachshunds home alone for about a week. Do you think they can hold it that long?
Actually, our Son is staying home alone with them so they should be fine… If he remembers to feed and water them and let them out to poddy…
I’m sure [...]

For the second time within a month, one of our Dachshunds had an infected anal glad. This time, Chloe’s abscessed and nearly ruptured.
Unlike Odie, it was a complete surprise since she was acting normal until late Sunday night where she started hiding behind the downstairs toilet.

I’m not really a YouTube fan but I like their service and I can post some videos of our three Dachshunds up there for free. For some reason, I can only record 14 seconds on my cell phone but at least you can see a video of Odie and Chloe. Molly is [...]

I was out walking Odie the other day and noticed a car driving around the dog pound (neighborhood, in case yo don’t listen to Snoop Dogg).
The elderly couple was obviously lost. They pulled over, rolled down window and asked,
“Is your dog’s name Oscar?”
I didn’t understand the question since I was expected them to ask for [...]

Isn’t it strange how dogs associate things? For instance, I’ll go to the kitchen and pull out a plastic baggy and Odie will immediate run to the front door.
Either he’s reading my mind that we’re going for a walk or he’s associating the plastic bag with walking. He doesn’t do this when I get a [...]
